Our inspiration and unique spirit

Dust Devil Aquatics began with a simple yet powerful idea: to nurture the growing swimming community in Apple Valley, California. We believe swimming is more than just a sport; it's a pathway to building leadership skills, community, discipline, and physical strength. What makes us special is our commitment to fostering growth both in and out of the pool, creating well-rounded individuals who excel in all aspects of life. While also providing a unique support family that lasts ages.

Meet our dedicated team

The heart of Dust Devil Aquatics lies with our incredible team. Our program thrives thanks to dedicated parents and families who genuinely love the sport and contribute tirelessly to our success. Leading the charge is our esteemed Head Coach, Coach Freddy, a lifelong swimmer with a rich background in club, high school, and collegiate competitive swimming. Her expertise and passion inspire our swimmers to reach their full potential. Our honorable Board President, Leanne Nevin. A forever swim mom to every swimmer and always striving to improve the community and the sport. She is the cheerleader everyone needs, both children and adults.

Our core philosophy: beyond competition

At Dust Devil Aquatics, we are more than just a competitive swim team; we are a community. While we strive for excellence in competitive swimming, our main goal is to build strong foundational technique in every swimmer. We emphasize the importance of every stroke, kick, and turn, believing that proper technique is the cornerstone of long-term success and enjoyment in the sport.

"Dust Devil Aquatics has truly built a special place for young swimmers. My child has not only improved their technique dramatically but has also found a supportive second family."
